If you have any questions related to your registration or you wish to make changes in your registration, please contact the AES HQ service address 22nd_registrations@aes.org directly.

Confirmation messages regarding both conference registration as well as hotel reservations, will be sent by the AES HQ directly. The process might take some time, so please be patient. You do not need to contact hotels for confirmations.

Important! Confirmation messages have been sent via email. A small number of email addresses were disfunctional and bounced back, so if you have not received a condirmation message yet, contact 22nd_registrations@aes.org if needed.

On-line conference registration has been opened at the AES main site. The deadlines for registrations are:

• Author registration: April 30th, 2002
• Others: May 20th, 2002 May 31st, 2002 (Note new date!)

It is recommended that registration is done using the on-line service and respecting the deadlines above. The conference dates are high season time in Helsinki and finding hotels might be difficult otherwise.

If you cannot use the on-line registration for some reason, but want to register, you can find the registration form as a PDF-file from the AES registration site. The address to return the form by mail or fax is:

In case of additional questions of problems, for example if you chose a wrong hotel by mistake, etc. please contact AES HQ directly.

There are two high-quality conference hotels for you to choose from:

• SAS Radisson Royal
  • Located in the Helsinki centre providing excellent opportunities for exploring the city
  • Conference provides a shuttle bus service to and from the conference venue. Also public transport can be used easily: the hotel is next to the bus station.
  • Single room: 76 EUR/night, Double room: 92.5 EUR/night
• SAS Radisson Espoo
  • Located in Espoo, Otaniemi, this hotel is within five minute walk from the conference venue!
  • Single room: 68 EUR/night, Double room: 76 EUR/night

Note that the registration fee only covers the deposit for hotels, the accommodation has to be payed to the hotels directly. Only a limited number of prebookings are available at the given prices.

The registration prices include full conference program including all day and evening events as well as lunches. Flights and hotels are NOT included. Please note that registration also requires a hotel deposit (120 USD) for securing hotel reservations. This deposit is then deducted from you final hotel bill, payable directly to the hotel in Euros.
