Sinusoidal methods are investigated in the project. Possible future applications include high-quality coding of wideband audio signals (audio codecs) and technologies employing parametric representation of generic audio signals.
The SinCo project was launched in the beginning of September 1997 and the first phase was concluded at the end of year 1997. The second phase started in the beginning of year 1998 lasting for four months.
