M1 refers to the impulse response measurement technique and M2 to the method where deconvolution is used for obtaining the target EQ filter. ( see [1] and [2] )

* The signal obtained with the M1 Flattop filter is panned slightly to the right and the signal obtained with the M2 Deconvolution filter to the left.
