- Teacher on course S-89.3650 Speech processing mathematics. (lectured next time fall 2008).
- Research interests:
- Speech analysis: Glottal inverse filtering, Kalman filtering, physical modelling of the vocal folds and parametrisation of the vocal folds
- Speech coding: Line Spectrum Pair, robust spectral modelling of speech, bandwidth expansion
- Speech enhancement: Kalman filtering, enhancement through physical modelling of the voice production system.
- Forensic analysis of speech signals.
- Mathematics: Toeplitz and Vandermonde matrices, polynomial transformations with respect to root loci
- ISCA Tutorial and Research Workshop (ITRW) on "Speech Analysis and Processing for Knowledge Discovery" to be held June 4-6 at the premises of Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark.
