Visual Diffraction / The basic idea of Image-Source Method

In image source method the acoustic effect of a surface can be
introduced by using mirror image sources. Here is an example with one
wall, source and receiver:
When there are more surfaces and they surround a receiver, there will
be more mirror image sources. A sound ray may be reflected by multiple
surfaces before arriving to a listener:
In this case, there should be infinite number of mirror image
sources. However, only few of them are visualized.
